Three cosy cottages in a rural woodland setting within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. The Lodge sleeps 5 in a double, a twin/double and a single. It has a double height living area with wood-burner and outside seating area.
This warm, wooden-clad cottage sits in beautiful gardens and woodland at the foot of the Campsie hills. The double-height living area with wood-burning stove leads onto an open plan kitchen and dining area. Also downstairs is a single room and a room with twin beds that zip together into a king-sized bed if requested. The family bathroom has a separate shower and bath. Upstairs is a double bedroom with en suite. The cottage has ramp access and an accessible bathroom and welcomes a well-behaved pet.
Outside is a garden area which is part of a larger woodland estate, which you are welcome to explore, with beautiful burn and bluebell wood. The area around is gorgeous rural countryside at the foot of the Campsies, with fantastic walking and cycling on the doorstep, but is also close to Glasgow and 10 minutes drive from Croy station where trains every half-hour will take you to Edinburgh. It is well placed for exploring central Scotland including Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and exploring further afield.

Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With zip and link kingsize bed (can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request).
Bedroom 2: With single bed.
Bathroom: With bath, wet room area, toilet, shower seat and grab rails (wheelchair access).
First Floor:
Bedroom 3: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Central central heating and towels included. Unfenced garden with seating area. Wheelchair access.
Both properties: Electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Cot and Highchair. Natural woodland grounds. 2 pets welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a stream in the grounds.
Ideal touring base
Nestling within this secluded woodland setting, these detached holiday lodges overlook the Campsie Fells, and are a great base for exploring all that central Scotland has to offer. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is 20 miles away with walking, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding and watersports on offer, while also being only 20 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow with galleries, museums, historical attractions, superb nightlife and fantastic shopping. Stirling and Edinburgh are easily accessible by car. Shop and pub 2½ miles, restaurant 3 miles.
